Very nice park. Clean and seemingly well run. Pick you site carefully, some are bigger than others. The site we stayed at is big, level, and partially shaded. We will definitely stay here again.
Camping in Michigan this time of year means that the facilities have been winterized and put out of use. No access to showers or restrooms. However, the campground itself is beautiful. Very scenic and natural. Access to well marked hiking paths right out of the campground. The fall colors were spectacular. We were able to get a prime location without reservations because the park was less than 10% full. I cannot wait to come back here in the summer and take advantage of the lake and beach.
Premium sites along the corn field were small, but pretty nice. The bathrooms and showers were filthy, and often not functioning. Highway noise was an issue, even though we were on the opposite side of the park.
Beautiful park with large private sites. Clean and well managed. This is a COE park. One of the best camping sites we have ever stayed at. Highly recommended.
